Donate your old computer

Let's face it, most of us are computer snobs and we're done with our computers long before they're done themselves. Computers for Schools is a national computer reseller of refurbished computers to schools and non-profit organizations. So, instead of filling our landfills with your old, unwanted tech, let's fill our nation's classrooms.

  1. My granddaughter gets my old ones or my son-in-law turns them into web or network servers; none ever get tossed.

  2. I give mine to a friend that home schools her kids. I guess they are going to education, too.

  3. I hate throwing that stuff out, what a great idea. I wonder why the school just does not host a Saturday and have the comunity drop off their old equipment.

  4. What's really a bummer for me is that my district only allows tech that they bought onto the network. So, I have get donated computers or write a grant and get a laptop for each and every one of my students and not a one of them will be able to be put on the network. UGH...

  5. That is really sad. I suppose changing the district's policies is close to impossible.
